Any Video Recorder is a program which records any action made on the monitor, finally turning them into a video.
This program can be installed as any other usual app, occupying a small space on the hard disk and little RAM memory. The interface is easy to use due to its small number of functions, namely two: General Setting and Video Setting.
The first function contains only three boxes which request the address where the video is to be saved, as well as the name of the file which is supposed to be saved. During my testing of this program, I discovered two main abilities: the video can be saved both during the recording and at the end of it. Another advantage, I think, is represented by the adjustable frame rate, but, the most important benefit is the fact that this tool can be downloaded from the Internet for free. Also, you don’t need a license to work with Any Video Recorder. On the other hand, for me, the main flaw of this program would be the fact that it cannot automatically change the name of the file. You have to write every time in the box the name of the new file created by this program. I also want to point out as a weakness the fact that it saves the file only in MP4 format.
To make things short, Any Video Recorder is easy to use, but simple, which might be a disadvantage for those who want to create high-quality videos. I must, though, bring to the forefront its role as a recording tool for videos prohibited to be downloaded. Because it supports only one output file format, I don’t recommend this app for those who want to create videos with extensions like AVI or WMA.
